Caramel Apple Pull Apart Bread is a warm, gooey treat layered with cinnamon-spiced apples and buttery caramel sauce, baked until golden and perfect for sharing at breakfast, brunch, or dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough or homemade yeast dough
  • 2 medium apples, peeled, cored, and finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce, plus more for drizzling
  • All-purpose flour (if making dough from scratch)
  • Milk (if making homemade dough or glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, combine chopped apples with brown sugar, granulated sugar, and cinnamon. Set aside.
  3. If using biscuit dough, separate each piece and gently roll out.
  4. Spread melted butter and a spoonful of apple mixture on each piece, then drizzle with caramel sauce.
  5. Stack dough pieces and place them upright in the prepared loaf pan.
  6. Drizzle remaining melted butter and caramel over the top.
  7. Cover pan with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10–15 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Allow to cool slightly. Drizzle with more caramel sauce before serving.
