Caramel apple grapes are a bite-sized twist on the classic caramel apple. Fresh grapes are dipped in smooth caramel and coated with crunchy toppings, making them a fun, festive, and easy-to-eat party treat or sweet snack.

Ingredients

  • 24 fresh green seedless grapes
  • 20 soft caramels (or 1/2 cup homemade caramel sauce)
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream (if using wrapped caramels)
  • 1/4 cup crushed peanuts or other nuts (optional)
  • 1/4 cup graham cracker crumbs or crushed cookies (optional)
  • Sea salt flakes, for garnish (optional)
  • 24 wooden toothpicks

Instructions

  1. Wash and thoroughly dry the grapes to ensure the caramel sticks well.
  2. Insert a toothpick into the top of each grape.
  3. In a small saucepan, melt the caramels with heavy cream over low heat, stirring continuously until smooth.
  4. Dip each grape into the melted caramel, letting the excess drip off.
  5. Immediately roll the caramel-coated grape in crushed nuts, graham crackers, or cookies if desired.
  6. Place the coated grapes on a parchment-lined tray.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for 15–20 minutes until the caramel is set before serving.
