Cajun Baked Salmon Bites are flavorful, bite-sized salmon pieces seasoned with bold Cajun spices and baked until crispy on the outside and tender inside. They make a perfect appetizer, snack, or light main dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb salmon fillets, skin removed and cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp paprika (optional, for extra color)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the salmon cubes with olive oil to coat them evenly.
  3. Add Cajun seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until all pieces are well-seasoned.
  4. Arrange the salmon bites on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer, ensuring they are not touching.
  5. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. For extra crispiness, broil for an additional 1–2 minutes.
  7. Remove from the oven and let rest for a couple of minutes.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

Adjust the spice level by using less Cajun seasoning or a milder blend.For extra crunch, coat the seasoned salmon in panko before baking.To make ahead, season the salmon and refrigerate until ready to bake.Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.Reheat in the oven or air fryer to maintain crispiness.
