Broccoli and Cheese Stuffed Chicken Breast is a wholesome and flavorful dish featuring juicy chicken breasts filled with tender broccoli and melted cheese. Baked to perfection, it’s a satisfying meal ideal for weeknights or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup broccoli florets, steamed and finely chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese or Greek yogurt (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (plus more for greasing)
  • Toothpicks (for securing chicken)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil or cooking spray.
  2. Steam or microwave broccoli until tender. Finely chop and place in a bowl.
  3. Add shredded cheddar cheese and optional cream cheese or Greek yogurt to the broccoli. Mix well.
  4. Pat chicken breasts dry and cut a horizontal pocket into each, being careful not to slice all the way through.
  5. Season chicken inside and out with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  6. Stuff each chicken breast with the broccoli-cheese mixture. Secure with toothpicks if needed.
  7. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear each stuffed breast for 2–3 minutes per side until golden.
  8. Transfer chicken to the prepared baking dish and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  9. Let rest for 5 minutes, remove toothpicks, and serve warm.
