Bang Bang Salmon Bites are crispy, bite-sized pieces of salmon coated in a spicy-sweet bang bang sauce. Cooked quickly in an air fryer or pan, they make a flavorful appetizer, snack, or main dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb salmon fillets (skinless, cut into bite-sized cubes)
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch or flour (for coating)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Oil spray (for air fryer or pan-frying)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp lime juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat salmon cubes dry with a paper towel.
  2. In a bowl, season salmon with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Toss to coat evenly.
  3. Add cornstarch or flour to the salmon and mix until evenly coated.
  4. For air frying: Lightly spray salmon with oil and air fry at 400°F for 8–10 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  5. For pan-frying: Heat a bit of oil in a skillet and cook salmon over medium-high heat for 2–3 minutes per side until crispy and cooked through.
  6. While the salmon cooks, prepare the bang bang sauce by mixing mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and lime juice in a bowl.
  7. Once cooked, toss the salmon bites in the sauce or drizzle over the top before serving.
  8. Garnish with green onions or sesame seeds if desired and serve warm.
