Air Fryer Caramel Apple Wontons are a crispy, bite-sized dessert filled with sweet apple pie filling and drizzled with rich caramel. This no-fuss treat is air-fried to golden perfection, offering the comforting flavors of apple pie with a healthier twist. Perfect for any occasion.
For the crust:
1 package wonton wrappers
1 can (15 oz) apple pie filling, chopped
½ cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Caramel sauce, for drizzling
Powdered sugar, for dusting
Prepare the Filling:
In a bowl, combine the chopped apple pie filling, granulated sugar, and ground cinnamon. Mix well.
Assemble the Wontons:
Place a wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Spoon approximately 1½ teaspoons of the apple mixture into the center.
Seal the Wontons:
Moisten the edges of the wrapper with a bit of water. Fold the wrapper into a triangle or rectangle, pressing the edges firmly to seal.
Air Fry:
Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Lightly spray the wontons with oil and place them in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Air fry for 4–6 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
Serve:
